Process Heating
Heating in industrial manufacturing processes makes up ⅔ of global industrial energy demand, much of which is powered by non-renewable fossil fuels.
Our process heating solutions use renewable biomass—often waste wood and other combustible remnants from manufacturing—to provide heating, drying, curing, phase change, and even cooling processes. This approach utilizes for fuel what would otherwise need to be disposed of at cost, and replaces the need for fossil fuels in energy generation.
CASE STUDY
In rural Oregon, two businesses outfit their operations to harness regionally available biomass for energy and new wood products, upgrade equipment, and establish new processing capability while supporting local restoration economies.
